Delivery & Comfort Guarantee

Thank you for shopping at PhD. Mattress! The following information can help you get the most enjoyment out of your new purchase.

Delivery

  1. Please have the driveway and entrance clear for the delivery truck.
  2. If you feel that wall hangings, nightstands or other fragile items will obstruct the path of delivery, please move them to prevent any safety or damage
    concerns.
  3. Please keep pets safely away during the delivery, so that they don’t escape or become a hazard to the delivery contractors.

PhD. Mattress’s Delivery Staff cannot move or haul away anything that is not specifically stated on the invoice. Please verify with your Sleep Specialist if you have specific needs for delivery/haul away before your delivery date.

If you feel like the Delivery Staff went above and beyond, tips are always appreciated.

  • Adjustment Period – It may take your body several weeks to become accustomed to the comfort and support of your new mattress set. Just as you might expect with a new pair of shoes, the upholstery layers of a mattress or the foam may take some time to break in. If you feel the floor model you tried was softer, your new mattress will break-in to the softer feel of the floor model, just give it some time.
  • Mattress Protection – We highly recommend the use of a mattress protector, since stains and soiling will void your manufacturer’s warranty on your mattress… Our mattress protectors are breathable, waterproof, dust mite proof, allergen proof and you can wash them (no bleach) and dry them (on low heat).

Please do NOT cut off Law Label Tag. If cut off, the warranty will be VOIDED on your product!

120 Night Comfort Guarantee

The PhD. Promise Comfort Guarantee – Offered on any mattress purchased that is not a floor model or otherwise ineligible purchase. Try your new mattress for 120 nights, if after 60 nights you feel it is not the right mattress for you we will happily offer one (1) exchange at no charge or expense to you, other than an extra delivery fee.  If your re-selection is more than your original price, you will pay the difference. We never exchange foundations/box springs or adjustable bed bases.

This policy is offered so that you can shop for a new custom sleep system with ease and know that we will support you in your investment with PhD. Mattress 100% after the sale. We do ask only two things of you and they are non-negotiable.

  1. You must try your new mattress at home for 60 nights minimum. We will not honor this policy before the 60 night period is up. It is very likely the first few nights to weeks you may feel a little achy, stiff or sore. This is simply your body and muscles discovering a new normal.
  2. We only will accept a return if it is 100% free of stains and body fluids. Our delivery team will inspect the mattress using a black light flashlight before picking it up. If stains or soiled areas are found, regardless of size or nature, we will not accept it for return.
